A few things to know.
When will AARC open?
AARC is planned to open in December 2026. Join our mailing list for opening news and updates.
Where is the centre?
You’ll find Alkimos Aquatic Recreation Centre on Koomool Drive, Alkimos, WA 6038.
Will there be learn-to-swim lessons?
Yes. BlueFit Swimming will offer lessons for babies, children and adults, with small classes, make-up lessons and a clear progression pathway. Registrations open soon.
Will the pools be heated?
Yes. AARC will have heated 50m outdoor and 25m indoor pools, plus a dedicated warm water pool.
Will there be a gym and group fitness?
Yes. The Health Club includes a Technogym gym, Biocircuit, Reformer Pilates, spin and group fitness studios, plus a recovery zone. Membership includes a wellness assessment, three free trainer sessions and a personalised plan.
What sports can I play in the stadium?
The four-court stadium will host basketball, netball, volleyball, indoor soccer and badminton, with seating for 500 spectators. Casual court access is subject to availability.
